Nation building needs advanced foresight

PRESIDENT Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday observed that a Nation could not be built only with dollars and rupees and the lost freedom could not be reinstated simply through power and political means, but needed much advanced foresight, to achive these objectives.

Fraud case:

Ceylinco Sri Ram Directors released on cash bail

The Criminal Investigation Department yesterday produced four directors of Ceylinco Sri Ram Capital Management Private Company before Colombo Fort Magistrate and Additional District Judge Gihan Pilapitiya. They are alleged to have failed to pay the depositors Rs.7 billion.
