President commended for eliminating terrorism

The Secretariat of the Sri Lanka Ex-servicemen's Association has unanimously passed a resolution on eliminating terrorism in Sri Lanka. It reads as follows:

"The members of the Ceylon War Veterans Association of world war 2 are highly pleased to congratulate President Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Defence Secretary, three Service Commanders, Senior officers and all service personnel of the three forces for eradicating the most notorious LTTE and bringing the country under a single National flag."
