Two Indian women nabbed:
Babul, beedi haul at BIA

Two Indian women were nabbed with babul and beedi valued at over Rs.
2 million at the Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday morning.
Police spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekera said the two Indian nationals
were nabbed at the BIA on arrival from India at around 2.30 a.m.
The two women had 12 bags containing 13,500 packets of babul and
14,000 Indian beedi, he added.
Airport police are investigating. |
