Moves to prevent website crashes and child pornography:

The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) has decided to appoint a high level working group consisting of experts from the TRCSL, premier IT institutions and the Attorney General’s Department to implement a comprehensive cyber security program in the country.

Galle mourns as funeral of five in same family held

The funeral of five persons of the same family crushed to death by a huge kapok tree that crashed on their shanty at Wiskam Road, Galwadugoda, Galle, took place yesterday afternoon at the Municipal Public Cemetery at Dadalla, Galle, with the participation of a large crowd including several political and community leaders.
