Milcris (Pvt) Ltd., and Seven Seas LLC signed a strategic alliance agreement for their joint venture in cost consultancy, quantity surveying and project management service. Milcris (Pvt) Ltd., is owned by Millan de Siva, a Sri Lankan investor in the Middle East.

Bank of Ceylon 3Q post-tax profits up 34 percent

The Bank of Ceylon’s post-tax profit for the period ended 2009 grew by Rs.505 million or 34 percent and increased to Rs.1,996 million over Rs.1,491 million reported for the corresponding period in 2008 in a challenging economic situation.
