Help Police identify JSC Secy’s attacker
The Colombo Crimes Division yesterday released a
sketch of the suspect who was involved in the assault on Judicial
Services Commission Secretary Manjula Thilakarathne and the robbery
of property worth over Rs. 40,000 from his possession.

Illegal migration attempt; 32 nabbed
Twenty eight persons, including three women who
attempted to illegally migrate to Australia by sea, were arrested in
Vavuniya on Tuesday. The group was arrested while travelling in a
bus to Silavathura, Puttalam where they planned to board a vessel.
