Three records tumble on day two at Beliatta
Three new meet records were set up on the second
day of the All island Schools Athletics Championship at the D A
Rajapaksa Stadium in Beliatta. H M Milina Kumari Senevirathna of Sri
Rahula National School Katugastota set up the first record in
athletic when she won the 5000 Meter event for girls’ under 21 with
a new record time of 18:16:21 minutes.

SL name Mumbai Sevens squad
Sri Lanka have made two changes to their rugby
sevens team for the third leg of HSBC Asia Sevens series which will
be worked off in Chennai, India on October 13 and 14. Mithun
Hapugodage who missed the Shanghai Sevens returns to the side while
