Unilever to relocate

Rs 5 b factory in Horana:

Unilever has invested Rs 5 billion for a purpose built factory at the industrial park in Horana gearing up to face the future. This will be the largest investment in the FMCG sector where the company plans to manufacture 95 percent of its product portfolio locally, Unilever Marketing Director Asanga Ranasinghe said.

SLI upgrades customer care call centre

Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI) re-launched its upgraded Customer Care Call Centre with modern communication technology yesterday. This centre will be managed by SLI staff and will be a toll free service. It is now geared to handle all insurance related queries promptly and efficiently.
