No decline in demand for land

Despite high interest rates and current economic conditions the demand for land in Sri Lanka has not declined. Speaking to Daily News Business a representative of Tharanga Land Sales said there is a no decline in the land prices and demand. Prices of the land has increased by 50 per cent.

Small, medium hotels get Rs 600 million

The Sri Lanka's Small and Medium Tourist hotels will receive Rs. 600 million to refurbish their properties. This credit facility is extended to them through the European Investment Bank. It will be dispersed through DFCC and Bank of Ceylon.
