SriLankan airlines will function smoothly with
effect from March 31 even after the Emirates management pulls out
from alliance, said Head of Worldwide Passenger Sales, SriLankan,
Manoj Gunawardena. He said however they gained valuable knowledge
from the Emirates management which was with the airline for a
decade.

signed a joint venture agreement with the National Oil Corporation,
Libya for the upgrading and revamping of Ras Lanuf refinery in Libya
worth US$ two billion.

launched at the Waters Edge Colombo yesterday paving the way for
generating employment opportunities for the local IT sector. The
birth of the new company is a result of the global acquisition of
Symbol Technology by Motorola Company USA.
