Cabinet approval to construct the proposed container terminal in the
Colombo South port. The company seems to be the highest bidder to
build and operate the new container terminal.

Record ERP growth for IFS
The global Enterprise Resource Planning growth
rate presently stands at 7 to 8 per cent, Vice President, South
Asia, Industrial and Financial Solutions, Jayantha de Silva said. An
anniversary celebration held to commemorate ten years of IFS in Sri
Lanka. He said IFS has a recorded an ERP growth rate of 15 per cent.

Lanka IOC expects fuel price reduction with VAT concession
Lanka IOC expects local fuel prices to come down
by December with the reduction of the VAT from 15 per cent to five
per cent. With the VAT reduction they could reduce Rs 10.30 per
litre of petrol, Managing Director Lanka IOC, K Ramakrishnan said
yesterday.
