Using astrology to manage your business - Part 9
Dhammika Vitharanage
Continuing on the 10th house Lord when the 10th house (profession,
employment and vocation) Lord is placed well, a person's promotions come
in due time or earlier never late as opposed to an ill placed 10th house
Lord where hardly a promotion comes through.
When we talk about finding employment and if the 10th house Lord was
placed in 9th house, it gives the opportunity to get a fine job no
sooner you are out of school or university.
One does not have to search extensively for jobs but on the other
hand a poorly placed 10th house Lord will make a person's search
gruelling in order to get even a miniature satisfactory job.
Popularity at one's work place can be measured by the nature of the
10th house (profession, employment and vocation) Lord and these will be
discussed in future articles. The relationship between the
subordinate-superior can be gauged by the 10th house Lord positioning as
well for eg. if the 10th house Lord was placed in 10th house his/her
superior will treat the person very well and once the superiors descend,
the person will smoothly move into that position.
If 10th house Lord was placed in 6th, 8th or 12th houses he/she will
not be able to get the vacant position of his/her superior.
Of course to what extent these events take place or how soon these
event transpire depends upon the status of the 10th house (profession,
employment and vocation) Lord's status. In order to recap our knowledge
of planetary status in various Rashi, it is re-mentioned below.
Example 1 |
Example 2 |
A horoscope has 12 houses (Rashis) and when each of the above planets
become Lagna Lords, will have various statuses or levels depending upon
the positioning of the above mentioned Lagna Lords in the 12 Rashis'.
All the pleasant features that we mentioned occur if the statuses are
Uchcha or Swakshethra and the unpleasant aspects transpire if the
statuses are Neecha or Sathuru.
Generally when Good (suba) planets rules the 10th house, the person
tends to earn through rightful living and when Bad (papi) planets rules
the 10th house the person tends to earn through immoral means.
We have mentioned the Uchcha status identification grid last week and
here we elaborate below is a Neecha status identification grid; 10th
house (profession, employment and vocation) speaks also about the sort
of hierarchy level in an organisation a person may be placed in his or
her job and the type of specialisation that he/she will excel in best
whilst being employed in an organisation eg. accountancy, marketing,
legal, technical, medical etc.
To get an accurate reading or a forecast one has to analyse the
strength of the 10th house (profession, employment and vocation) Lord
and then see what planets are placed within the 10th house.
Basic rules state that if the 10th house (profession, employment and
vocation) Lord is positioned strongly in a good house, for eg. 9th, 2nd
11th or the 10th house itself, generally it is likely that the person
would have good employment prospects.
In order to be termed lucky the 10th house Lord should be placed
either at Uchcha or Swakshethra positions, or else it can be placed at
Mithra or Sama with an Uchcha or Swakshethra aspect from another planet.
We should also look at the planet or planets that have fallen on to
the 10th house to understand the full storyof a person's employment
prospects.
Example 1
In this horoscope Venus is placed on the 10th house and in Pieces
where the status level of Planet Venus is "Uchcha'. This kinds
positioning always enables the person to have excellent employment
prospects.
Example 2
In this horoscope too Venus is placed on the 10th house and in Virgo
the status level of Planet Venus is "Neeche", so in this kind of a
situation the person will constantly have mediocre level employment
prospects.
We must again reiterate that these are generally considered as being
good although not necessarily being a hard and fast rule as these differ
according to planetary permutations/combinations of each individual as
mentioned previously and that is when the service of a competent
astrologer should be sought.
