More than two million join SLFP in a week
The people’s endorsement of the government’s
efforts to resisit local and foreign pressures aimed at reversing
the country’s triumph over terrorism, and retarding progress, is
clearly seen by more than two million people obtaining membership of
the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, within a single week, SLFP Secretary
