Strauss, Trott hit tons

England captain Andrew Strauss and Jonathan Trott warmed up for next week's Test series against Sri Lanka by slamming centuries in a practice match on Wednesday. Strauss made 100 and Trott scored 101 before both batsmen retired to give other batsmen a hit-out on the second day of the three-day match against the Sri Lanka Development XI.

T20 World Cup ticket sales to be launched on Saturday

The ICC World Twenty20 2012 ticket launch will take place at the Galle Face Green on 24 March with President Mahinda Rajapaksa purchasing the very first ticket of the tournament.

Giant-killers Bangladesh aim to hunt down Pakistan

In nine previous Asia Cup editions, Bangladesh had played 29 matches and won two, against Hong Kong and UAE. Out of three games this time, they have won two, against World Cup 2011 finalists India and Sri Lanka, and lost a close match to Pakistan.
