Capital market needs more professionals

More professionals will be needed in the capital market as many investors enter the stock market during the peak time of the CSE. More investment advisors are needed as the market has shown a positive growth, Colombo Stock Brokers’ Association, Chairman, Sriyan Gurusinghe told Daily News Business.

Sri Lanka to host Asia Pacific Roundtable conference

Sri Lanka will host the ninth Asia Pacific Roundtable conference for sustainable consumption and production in June 2010 in Colombo. Regional Director Asia Pacific Roundtable for Sustainable Consumption and Production (APRSCP) K. Rasaputhra told Daily News Business that the Asia Pacific region is currently experiencing rapid lifestyle changes due to increasing wealth causing a heavy burden on the region’s resources.
