Hemas Southern Hospital completes knee replacement surgery

The Hemas Southern Hospital Galle recently carried out a successful knee replacement surgery on 57 year old K. Ranasinghe. The four-hour long operation was performed by consultant orthopaedic surgeon Dr. V. Swarnakumar.

Ranasinghe said that although he enjoyed free medical insurance cover in Italy, he chose to get this surgery done at the Hemas Southern Hospital Galle due to its experienced doctors, excellent facilities and the quality of its nursing care.
