Journalists who fled country behind Channel 4 episode

Some journalists who had fled the country recently calling themselves Journalists for Democracy in Sri Lanka were behind the attempt of London Channel 4 TV’s doctored telecast that sought to defame the Sri Lankan Armed Forces it has been found.

Some journalists who had no where to go after the LTTE terrorist leader was killed had met the renegade Sri Lankan journalists calling themselves JDS in Berlin and this group had made the video footage intending to telecast it to defame the Sri Lankan Armed Forces that defeated the terrorists and also rescued hundreds of thousands of civilians who fled the LTTE held area in the North. The video had been made with the assistance of a company owned by an international LTTE operator Rudrakumar.

Telecasting the video clipping defamatory of the Armed Forces was done with the intention of summoning the Sri Lanka Government and its Armed Forces before an international war tribunal, it has now been revealed.

One of the journalists who had fled the country was a director in one of the companies owned by the LTTE international operative Rudrakumar. There was also a Sri Lankan named Tilak who has connections with the company owned by Rudrakumar and national intelligence sleuths were conducting investigations to arrest him. The journalist who made the video telecast on Channel 4 had been paid well for the job, intelligence sources said.
