I came home late night
Hungry...tired and sad.....
After spending hours in traffic jams
Created by thousands of patriots
Who chose death over dividing motherland
Watched on television...
With a bleeding heart......
How a murderer gain a big piece
Of my precious motherland.....
My grandma came slowly.....sat next to me....
And said...in a firm voice...
Don't be angry and sad my daughter.....
History repeats......
Every time we faced a grave danger......
A hero from South emerged....
And rescued motherland.....
With the help of patriotic sons......
Of mother Lanka....
Today.......
I know you are watching me...
From heaven with joy
How I am celebrating.......
