Rs. 350 million credit package to develop rice mills

The Ministry of Advanced Technology and National Enterprise Development has made arrangements to assist the modernisation of rice mills throughout the island with a credit package of Rs. 350 million on concessionary terms from the S.M.E. Bank.

JBIC grants US$ 70 m for tourism

The Japanese Bank has granted US. $ 70 million for a south west coast tourism infrastructure development project. The Ministry of Tourism will coordinate the projects.
