ICTA leads business delegation to Singapore

A number of leading Sri Lankan ICT companies participated in the "Sri Lanka IT Solutions Showcase" event held at Hotel Marriott, Singapore recently. This event was organised by the ICT Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) and the Sri Lankan High Commission in Singapore in collaboration with the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SITF) and the Software Exporters Association (SEA) of Sri Lanka.

ICTA believes this business linkage event as another step towards empowering the local ICT private sector to deliver world class performance. Well attended event provided ICT companies of both countries a platform to explore bilateral business opportunities. Local companies who participated were a mix of software product companies, web developers, system integrators and professional service providers.

CEO of ICTA Manju Hathotuwa presented an overview of the 'e-Sri Lanka' initiative and invited Singapore companies to partner our companies in order to explore regional business opportunities.

The chief guest of the event was High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in Singapore Shehan Rathnavale. Leading Sri Lankan companies such as KBSL, JIT, Affno, hSenid, Kingslake, Prudential Holdings, CSL and Microimage were represented in the delegation and the event was sponsored by NCS (Pte) Limited and Microsoft Singapore (Pte) Ltd.
