Tourist arrivals increase by 8% upto September
 

Tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka increased by 8 per cent after the end of the third quarter, a Sri Lanka Tourist Board official said. The total tourist arrivals up to September 2005 were 405,585, which is an increase of 8 per cent. There were 375,630 arrivals up to 2004 September.

India will be real testing ground - Atapattu
 

Sri Lanka captain Marvan Atapattu said that the tour of India will assess how good his team was outside his own country. "We haven't been really tested for a long period of time and we haven't played seven one-dayers for a long time," said Atapattu whose side leaves for Bombay today.
