ICRC to help trace missing persons by Ranga Jayasuriya The International Committee of the Red Cross yesterday said that out of
a reported 20,000 complaints, 2,200 persons have been confirmed as missing
in the last 12 years of the war. No Confidence motion comfortably defeated : State's security not compromised - Marapana by Jayantha Sri Nissanka and Bharatha Malawaraarachchi Defence Minister Thilak Marapana asserted that the security of the
State has not been compromised despite steps to restore normality. He said

Police Anti Corruption Unit yesterday when they detected 22 vehicles worth
more than Rs. 200 million which were hijacked and stolen from various
