Lanka get to work on Ruchira's bowling action

Strong winds prevent play on second day

Overnight rain and strong winds prevented any play on the second day of Sri Lanka's 4-day tour match against Glamorgan at Sophia Gardens at Cardiff on Friday. There was no rain on Friday, but strong gusts of wind blowing at around 60 mph prevented play from commencing and umpires Jeremy Lloyds, who was on television duty at Lord's and M. Dixon, a reserve in the first-class list had no option but to abandon play around tea time.
