Not a ball bowled

The second 4 day unofficial test match between the touring India 'A' and Sri Lanka 'A' is heading towards a draw after the third days play was completely washed out due to bad weather at the De Soysa Stadium in Moratuwa yesterday.

Heavy rain in the morning shattered any hopes of India 'A' resuming their first innings and the two umpires Lalith Jayasundera and Jagath Nandalal decided to call off play at 12.00 noon. India 'A' will resume their first innings at 55 for 4 today in reply to Sri Lanka 'A' total of 282 all out.

The first days play was also washed out due to a water logged outfield on Wednesday.
