Sheron Fernando wins monthly medal round

The first monthly medal round for the year, was conducted by the Royal Colombo Golf Club. It was sponsored by Capital Alliance and held at the RCGC on Saturday May 18, 2013. There were three divisions the ‘A’ being won by Sheron Fernando the ‘B’ being won by A. V. Rajendra and ‘C’ being won by Mahendra Jayasekera. This apart there was competition in the Seniors, Masters and Sri Lanka pool players.

Division A- Handicap 0 to 09

Winner: Sheron Fernando 69 Nett, Runner up : Zaffar Sikkander 70 Nett.

Division B – Handicap 10 – 18

Winner: A. V. Rajendra 68 Nett, Runner Up: Gihan Siribaddana 69 Nett.

Division C- Handicap 19 to 28

Winner: Mahendra Jayasekera 69 Nett, Runner Up : Gimmy Ang 70 Nett.

Seniors: Winner: Dr. P. L. Samarasinghe 72 Nett, Runner Up: Tommy Wijayasekara 74 Nett B/B9.

Master: Winner: A. Wimalaratne 71 Nett, Runner Up: Pandula Kuruppu 72 Nett.

Sri Lanka Pool Players: Winner : Sisira Kumara 70 Gross, Runner Up: M. Arumugam 73 Gross.
