Royal, Ladies College dominate t-sips SL Schools Rowing Nationals
Four days of spirited rowing by 14 schools culminated with Ladies
College winning 14 medals (6 gold, 7 silver and 1 bronze) and Royal
emerging winner of the Boy's category with 13 medals (5 gold, 4silver, 4
bronze).
In the girls section, Ladies College dominated the under 14 and 18
categories while Royal College dominated the under-14, 16 and 18
categories in the boys section. S. Thomas' appeared as the under-20
winners.
Standing behind the Sri Lanka Schools National Rowing Championships
was t-sips.
T-sips, having been the title sponsor of the Royal Thomian Regatta
for three consecutive years and the proud sponsor of the Royal College
rowing team for the same period of time, helping to raise the standards
of rowing in Sri Lanka schools to national or even international
standards. |
