SL name Mumbai Sevens squad

Sri Lanka have made two changes to their rugby sevens team for the third leg of HSBC Asia Sevens series which will be worked off in Chennai, India on October 13 and 14.

Mithun Hapugodage who missed the Shanghai Sevens returns to the side while Dilip Selvam from Up Country Lions will play in his first Asia Sevens tourney.

They come into the side at the expense of Mohomad Sheriff and Shenal Dias. Sri Lanka have been drawn in to group ‘B’ along with Malaysia, Iran and China.

The Sri Lanka squad for Mumbai – Fazil Marija (Captain) and Saliya Kumara both from Kandy SC. Vishvamithra Jayasinghe, Srinath Sooriyabandara, Sajith Saranga, Nigel Ratwatte and Dilip Selvam all from Up Country Lions. Chula Susantha, Dinusha Chathuranga and Sayuru Anthony all three from Navy SC. Saliya Hadapangoda (Army) and Mithun Hapugodage (Havelocks). Coach - Ben Gollings. Manager – Col. Mohan Ratnayake
