A march organized by the National
Institute for Mental Health to mark World Mental Health Day
was held near the National Arts Gallery in Colombo
yesterday. An awareness exhibition was also held at the Art

The Ceylon Fisheries Corporation
(CFC) recently introduced a special life insurance scheme to
its employees under the patronage of Fisheries and Aquatic
Resources Development Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne. As a
result of discussions held between the CFC and the Sri Lanka
Insurance Corporation, CFC employees will receive an
insurance with a number of benefits. Here, Sadeena Erangika,
a widow of CFC employee Buddhika (who died under tragic
circumstances) receives a compensation cheque from Minister
Senaratne. |

Ananda College Principal L M
Dharmasena who was appointed a Brevet Colonel under a joint
programme organized by the Ministries of Defence and
Education being welcomed by the Ananda College staff and
students on his arrival at the school premises on Tuesday.
