Ranna212 to introduce still water villas to south

Ranna212 Tangalle is to further invest over US $ 7.5 million to add
70 rooms which would include Southern Province's first still water
villas. Operations Manager Pushpitha Udawatta said that the salient
feature of the extension would be the construction of 25 still water
villas over the lagoon. The project is scheduled to be completed within
10 months.
It will consist of a swimming pool, two bars and two restaurants
bringing the tally to four restaurants, four bars and two swimming pools
with a total inventory of 125 rooms.
In addition, an administration complex at a cost of Rs 75 million is
planned for, which will consist of a staff dormitory, laundry complex,
office complex, car park, store complex and cafeteria.
The opening of the Ruhunu Magampura Mahinda Rajapaksa International
Port, and the scheduled opening of the Mattala airport and international
cricket being played in the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket
Stadium Hambantota adds to the potential of Ranna212. Similarly,
economic activities in the Hambantota region where there is an acute
paucity of quality accommodation, offers enormous scope. |
