Medical crossword completes four years

The Medical Crossword in the Daily News medical page Healthwatch which is the only medical crossword in a daily newspaper in the country making use of the crossword feature for health education, completes four years, with the draw of Crossword No. 48 scheduled for Saturday, August 27 at the sponsors Wish Institute auditorium at Delkanda, Nugegoda.

The crossword draw No 1 to 30 was sponsored by Novartis. Thereafter, the Wish Institute headed by Clinical Audiologist Mihiri Wickremarachchi, took over the sponsorship. All past prize winners from Crossword No 1 to 47 are invited to send in their views, in not more than 200 words on how the crossword has benefitted them in health education.
