Interviews for SLFP candidates

Interviews for the selection of SLFP candidates contesting for the forthcoming Local Government Election from the Colombo District will begin at the Mahaweli Centre today.

Former members of Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa and Kaduwela Urban Councils and Kaduwela Pradeshiya Sabha who wish to contest the forthcoming Local Government election will be interviewed at the Mahaweli Centre today from 9.00 a.m.

Former members of the Homagama and Sithawakapura Pradeshiya Sabhas and Sithawakapura Urban Council will be interviewed from 2 pm at the same venue.

Interview for the selection of candidates contesting for the upcoming LG election for the first time from Boralesgamuwa, Kesbewa and Maharagama Urban Councils would be held from 9.00 am tomorrow (12) while the new candidates who wish to contest the Kaduwela and Homagama PSs would be held at the same venue from 2.00 pm.

The candidates contesting the upcoming election from the Sithawakapura PS and the Urban Council for the first time would be held at the same venue from 1.00 pm.
