Kandy Principals to decide on school opening

Central Province Education Ministry has empowered the school principals to decide when schools should be opened following closure due to inclement weather.

Principal, Dharmaraja College said that the school will remain closed till January 16 as heavy rains has caused extensive damage to its buildings and pathways.

Principals of D S Senanayake Vidyalaya and Gotami Balika Vidyalaya have also informed the Central Province Education authorities of their inability to open the school at present.
