Funerals of earthslip victims tomorrow

The cremations of the seven persons killed by the earthslip at Rajasinghe Mawatha, Getambe in Peradeniya will take place tomorrow (12) evening at the Mahayyawa Crematorium with the funds allocated by the Central Province Chief Minister’s Fund, Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake said.

The remains are lying at the Gunaratne Dhamma School of the Sri Sudharmarama Vihara at Getambe for the public to pay their respects.

Kandy Mayor Pushpakumara said that funeral arrangements were being organized by the Kandy Municipal Council.
