ANCL appeals for flood victims

The Daily News and The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd (ANCL) calls upon the public to contribute generously to help over 830,000 people in distress following the recent floods.

The following are urgently required.Mats, pillows, mattresses, blankets, bedspreads, mosquito coils, drinking water and food items for children. They could be delivered to the Manager Welfare Division, Lake House No 35, D R Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo 10.
