Enhanced financial stability:

The new Finance Business Act that will introduced soon will further enhance financial stability while giving more power to the Central Bank. Central Bank Deputy Governor Dharma Dheerasinghe said the new Finance Business Act will be presented for Cabinet approval on December 29.

Christmas trees from recycled material : A visitor to the Heritance Tea Factory this season will be able to enjoy a unique set of environmentally friendly Christmas trees made out of recycled material. These Christmas trees that adorn the public areas of Heritance Tea Factory hotel have been made with waste and used material supporting the 7R environment policy internally developed and widely used by the Aitken Spence Hotels. These trees have been made with bottles, wax and twigs of tea bushes.
