Pakistan Air Force Chief arrives in Lanka

Visiting Pakistan Air Force Commander Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar
Suleman arrived in the country yesterday on an invitation extended by
the Air Force Commander.
Air Chief Marshal Suleman is scheduled to meet Air Force Commander,
Air Chief Marshal WDMRJ Goonetileke tomorrow at the Air Force
Headquarters.
The visit underscores the historic ties and friendly cooperation
between the two Forces. The Pakistan Air Force had extended technical
assistance and training to the SLAF during its air campaign against
terrorists, Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said.
“During his stay, the Air Chief Marshal will call on the Defence
Secretary, and Army and Navy Commanders. He will also visit the Sri
Dalada Maligawa.
