Shivantha bags leadership award

President, Deaf School Past Pupils' Association, Ratmalana, Shivantha Vivekanandan, bags the highest award 'Most Excellent Leadership Award' and was also appointed life member of the Association at the 60th Annual General Meeting and the election of the office bearers of the Deaf School Past Pupils' Association, Ratmalana to be held at the school hall on Sunday, October 18.

Nine outstanding members will also be awarded for making substantial contributions to the Deaf School Past Pupils' Association, Ratmalana for over 50 years.

They are Ryle de Mel, Ranjith Wirasinha, J. R. B. Kobbekaduwa, Ramsay Wickremasinghe, B. J. M. Senaratne, Marina de Mel, Martha Dabare, Saraswathy Joseph and Srimathie Abeysekera.

Marie Wijeyaratne (Principal), Patron, Deaf School Past Pupils' Association, The School for the Deaf, Ratmalana, will be the chief guest and Ravi Chiththananda, Managing Director, Vinsalu, will be a special guest.
