Russia, a true friend

Russia is a great nation with a lot of genuinely friendly and intelligent people with whom Sri Lanka can restart the friendship and cooperation that we had earlier. Forget about CEYNOR and our country can start enterprises in the fisheries sector with expertise from these people. The contacts that we had with them regarding the fisheries sector did not work in the seventies, I think, mainly due to the foolish bureaucrats that we had in the Fisheries Ministry.

Anyway we can start all over again. We might be able to develop Solar and Wind power too with their help, at a cheaper cost than in the West. Why not go for geothermal energy and maybe for oil drilling once again. Why not give them also a concession in Mannar like it was done with India and China?
