Attempt to assassinate President:
Three arrested
Three LTTE suspects who were gathering
information to assassinate the President were arrested by the
Western Province Intelligence Unit. Police spokesman SSP Ranjith
Gunasekera said an LTTE suspect was arrested on June 15 at the
Ayurveda junction, Borella by the police WP Intelligence Unit.
