Gamage netball tourney on June 13

The Piyasena Gamage Challenge Trophy Netball Tournament which will be conducted by the Galle District Netball Association will be held on June 13 at Baddegama Public Grounds.

The tournament will be divided into Under-19 (junior tournament) and Open Tournament. 47 teams have already registered for the tournament. Other teams will have an opportunity to register at Baddegama Public grounds on June 13 from 7.30 a.m.

Piyasena Gamage Challenge Trophy and Rs. 15,000 cash prize to the winning team and Rs. 10,000 to the runner-up team. Several other prizes will be given for the outstanding players from the tournament.

This netball tournament is being conducted to commemorate twenty years of social and political service by Minister of Vocational and Technical Training Piyasena Gamage.
