Moscow orchestra in Sri Lanka

An Orchestra from Moscow will arrive in Sri Lanka with the high demand of the Sri Lankan Music lovers, in June 2009.

A 10 member Orchestra is headed by the Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor of Moscow State Conservatoire, Pianist and Lecturer, music public figure Veniamin Korobov who is ready to conduct piano master classes as a gift for Sri Lankan lovers of music. The Embassy of Russian Federation and The Russian Centre in Colombo wish to hold this event to bring the Russian culture which is represented by the renowned performers of International level to the lovers of art in Sri Lanka.

During their visit in Sri Lanka the 10 member Orchestra will perform a concert at the Bishop's College Auditorium on June 13 at 6.30 p.m. and at Earl's Regency Hotel Kandy on June 14 from 6.30 p.m.
