Thalasimia awareness program

An upward trend in the spreading of Thalasimia disease in the North Western Province has promoted the Department of Social Services of the NWPC to take measures to educate all field officers of Government Departments on Thalasimia and preventive measures. This program will be implemented at Divisional Secretary Divisional level in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Services under the guidance of V. Malanie, the Director of Social Services of the NWPC.
