LTTE divided

Majority for surrender, minority for battle:

President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Monday convened a special Security Council meeting to discuss the overall security situation in the country. The aim of this Security Council Meeting was to assess the ground realities in the battlefront and to decide on future action plan of the Government with regard to the ongoing operations specially the humanitarian mission conducted by the Army to rescue the remaining civilians trapped inside the No Fire Zone.
