Sanguppiddy ferry crossing is located along A - 32 and the Road Development Authority (RDA) intends to construct a steel bridge across this ferry crossing so that a smooth flow of traffic could be maintained. As an initial step, it is suggested to construct the sub-structure.

The approximate cost of the bridge is Rs. 150 million and will be met from the consolidated funds. The two contractors are M-1 Bridge Contractors and P-1 Contractors.
