Mahela dominates third day's play
Vandort scores 4th Test century:
Skipper Mahela Jayawardena's record breaking
batting feat where he went past Sanath Jayasuriya's most number of
Test runs, his century and then when he lowered Graham Gooch's
record and Michael Vandort's century were the highlights of the
third day's play in the Second Test against England at the
Singhalese Sports Club ground, yesterday.

Skipper Mahela Jayawardena rewrote record books
as he became the first Sri Lankan player to score seven thousand
runs during his magnificent unbeaten knock of 167 runs on the third
day of the second Test match against the touring England team

MCC Centre of Excellence to be opened on December 15
