Lanka's economy booming - IMF

SRI LANKAN economy is progressing to achieve over 5 per cent growth in the second quarter of 2005 and the growth is expected to be over 5 per cent despite the tsunami.

Lankan airline industry maintains growth - Etihad GM

SRI LANKA'S airline industry maintaining a 5 percent growth, which is in line with the global airlines' increase said Etihad Airways General Manager South Asia, Charles Phelps Penry. He said that this development has prompted the airline to increase their daily flights to Colombo from December.
