Five craftsmen to represent SL

All arrangements are in place to hold the Sri Lanka-India Handicraft Exhibition and Trade Fair on a grand scale at the Pragati Maidan hall in New Delhi, India from November 14 to 27, the National Craft Council spokesperson said.

Five craftsmen from Sri Lanka have been selected to participate in this event. They are Indika Udayanga, B Jayawathi, OKGSK Sanjeewana, Krishani Inoka and K Bhashkaran. The exhibition and trade fair is organized by the National Craft Council and the Indian High Commission to boost ties between India and Sri Lanka.

It will also provide a good opportunity to develop skills of craftsmen. The spokesperson added that this is a good platform to exchange experiences and learn from each other.
