Scientific sessions

The annual Scientific Sessions-2011 of the Sri Lankan Society of Critical Care and Emergency Medicine (SSCCEM) which were inaugurated on Sunday will end today.

The award wining Liver Transplant team from Mayo’s Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida’ USA are participating in these sessions as guest lecturers.

Sri Lanka completed several successful liver transplants and the visiting team of experts has created interest amongst the many medical specialists involved in transplant surgery, general surgery, Hematology, critical care and anesthesiology.

The SSCCEM was inaugurated in 2002 with the participation of 109 doctors and nurses working in diverse fields of Medicine.
