An elegy to a father

Dear father, we have come to see you…
During our childhood, our father was our hero…
We had no life beyond our father…
Our mother loved us a lot and so did we…

We always see our mother at hoe but our father stays at home very seldom… because he has to earn for the sake of his family – we and our mother…

Our happiest days came when father stayed at home. The stories that he told us, his fragrance, his warmth, his sweetmeats… we loved them so much. How fast does time fly…? Today we have become fathers. We are the heroes in our children’s worlds. They wait eagerly till we come home… That’s the moment when we too really feel the meaning life… Our father who is old now must be waiting till we come to see him.

Dear father, we have come to see you…
