Sancharaka Udawa in June

Sancharaka Udawa 2013 , Sri Lanka's most comprehensive exhibition catering to all inbound tourism operations in the country will be held for the 3rd consecutive year on June14 and15, 2013 at the BMICH, Colombo.

With the boom in tourism that the country is currently witnessing, having forecasted a mega growth of potential visitors to the island nation, Sancharaka Udawa provides the ideal platform, a one stop shop to all inbound tourist providers spanning the length and breadth of the country.

The exhibition spanning two days is organized by the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO), in conjunction with Sri Lanka Tourism. The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Sri Lanka Tourist Development Authority headed by Bhashwara Gunarathna, have pledged their fullest support for this event and many other activities will be held and co-ordinated, together with Sri Lanka Tourism, during this event. Sri Lanka Tourism has been supporting Sancharaka Udawa from its inception.

Imran Hassan Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Sancharaka Udawa said that the event will galvanise all middle and lower industry related service providers under one roof, giving them an opportunity to expand their services and add more value. "The concept is a unique one in which small and medium scale operations are given the chance to showcase their services and products to a wider market. The exhibition will also provide all participants with the only opportunity to meet, interact, socialize and network among themselves to add more value to the diverse services each entity provides" he said. Sancharaka Udawa 2013 will be opened to the public from 10 am to 6 pm on June14 and 15, 2013.
